Recipe #1 for Organic Dog Bones

Ingredients…please use all organic ingredients for the best quality.

  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour, oat flour, rye flour or rice flour
  • 1/3 cup of corn meal
  • 1/2 cup of soy flour
  • 1/2 cup ground up sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of unsulfured molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk

Next

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix and then add the liquid ingredients
  3. If the dough is too stiff add a little water or milk
  4. Form into a ball and knead
  5. Roll out on a floured cutting board 1/4 inch thick
  6. Cut out with cookie cutters the shape you desire
  7. Put on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 25-35 minutes
  8. Cool and keep in refrigerator

Recipe #2 for Natural Dog Bones

Ingredients…please use all organic for the most healthy treat.

  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour, oat flour, or rice flour
  • 1.2 cup of rye or buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 cup brewer’s yeast
  • 1 cup of bulgur
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup of parsley flakes
  • 1 cup of dry milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon milk…this is the glaze…optional

Next

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Combine and mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl except the dry yeast
  3. In a small bowl combine the dry yeast and warm water and stir until yeast is dissolved then add chicken broth
  4. Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients and mix well
  5. If the dough is too stiff add a little water
  6. Form into a ball and knead
  7. Roll out on a floured cutting board 1/4 inch thick
  8. Cut out with cookie cutters the shape you desire
  9. Put on a greased cookie sheet and add glaze if wanted
  10. Bake for 45 minutes
  11. Let biscuits cool off in oven overnight and keep in refrigerator

Makes 6-7 dozen biscuits

Recipe #3 for All Natural Dog Treats

Ingredients…please use all organic for the most healthy treat.

  • 4-5 soup bones found in your organic grocery store
  • 1 clove of organic garlic
  • 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
  • Enough meat and veggie stock to cover bones…do not add salt

Next

  1. Put uncooked bones in meat stock
  2. Marinate in refrigerator overnight
  3. Then take bones out of marinate and put in freezer (this will kill harmful bacteria)
  4. After they are frozen they are ready for your dog
  5. If the dough is too stiff add a little water
