Healthy Dog Foods

Essential for Healthy Pets

Do you know why it's important to give your dog healthy dog foods?

The food your dog eats has a major impact on their health and well-being, both today and for many tomorrows!

You want a healthy, happy dog, right?

And, no doubt, you want them to be around for as long as possible.

The two most important things you can do to help your canine companion are…

  1.   Ensure they have proper veterinary care (not just the required shots, but regular examinations, too)…

  2.    Feed them wholesome healthy dog foods

Our dogs are a lot like our kids, and we want to do the best we can for them.

High quality, holistic dog foods use to be a little harder to find than the food your neighborhood supermarket sells, and they're more expensive, at least initially (more on that later)

Yet, an all natural dog food is the best way to insure you are using a premium natural dog food.

To buy wholesome, healthy dog foods, you'll probably have to make a special trip to a pet store, although you can also order it online.

No worries…At this point you might be a bit confused, because many supermarket dog foods say they're scientifically formulated and nutritionally complete. That sounds healthy, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, grocery store dog food might be balanced, complete and oh-so-scientific, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's healthy.

In fact, it's not.

And, although we won't mention any specific brand names, did you know that the dog food your vet probably sells isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be, either?

Many vets sell a particular brand of food because they get a great deal from the manufacturer, not because they think it's the best dog food for your companion.

Back to…Supermarket dog food (and at least some of the food your vet probably sells) is loaded with so many chemical additives and synthetic compounds that you'd practically have to be a chemist to decipher the label.

It just stands to reason that artificial flavors, synthetic dyes, chemical preservatives, cheap fillers like corn meal and soybeans, animal by-products (which are chicken beaks, feathers, animal necks, intestines and so on) and other unsavory ingredients simply can't be as healthy for your dog as real beef, lamb or poultry, fruits and veggies.

Premium natural dog food has not only great quality meats but sweet potatoes, peas and carrots, and natural antioxidants, all of which are preserved naturally by freeze-drying or flash freezing instead of chemically.

Which type would you choose?

Which type sounds like it's a higher quality, more wholesome, all natural dog food to you?

We would definitely say… the one without all the chemicals and other unpalatable "stuff."

Wholesome choices can help your dog lead a healthier, happier, more active life.

You'll need to make that trip to the pet store or order it on the Internet, but your dog is worth a little extra trouble, aren’t they?

The good news is… You won't need to feed your dog as much of it, because it's much more nutritious and digestible.

In the long run, healthy dog food and holistic dog foods probably don't cost very much more than the dog food you could get in the grocery store.

Because you will save on veterinarian bills and you won’t have to buy so much.

Now that's something everyone will like.
